This installment of News and Notes for November 2016 talks about the current state of watershed land. As part of its watershed management plan, DCR has established clear rules and regulations that allow for passive recreational use of watershed lands – activities such as hiking, which do not jeopardize these protected waters. However, the increased level of unauthorized activities has started to put watershed health into jeopardy. Continue to full editorial here.
