EPA is offering a free workshop on the Opti-Tool software on June 7 in Andover, MA. The spreadsheet-based tool helps stormwater managers to estimate reduced nutrient loads as a result of implementing green infrastructure. The Opti-Tool also incorporates precipitation data and performs a cost-benefit analysis for which BMP (11 types are demonstrated in the tool) is most appropriate for the location. A fact sheet on the Opti-Tool is available here. Find more details about the June 7 workshop and information to RSVP here.

Reminder: don’t forget to sign up for the May 23 webinar about green infrastructure in Dover, NH. This is a great example of a public works department adapting BMPs to best suit their O&M needs while still managing stormwater.
